Coating Roman Blind Fabric

Unlike standard curtain fabrics, our Roman Blind series undergoes a "Foaming + Scraping" process. The foaming layer provides the necessary body and soft insulation, while the scraping layer ensures a perfectly flat, pinhole-free blackout surface. This combination prevents light leakage at the fold lines, a common issue in lower-quality blinds.

Weight is critical for Roman blinds. At 290g/sqm, this fabric is heavy enough to hang straight and block 100% of light, yet light enough to fold neatly into crisp, clean stacks without adding excessive bulk to the headrail system.

Our high-tenacity 100% polyester base is heat-set to ensure dimensional stability. This prevents the fabric from "cupping" or curling at the edges after installation-essential for the precise, rectangular look required for professional Roman shades.

The 300cm width allows for wide Roman blinds to be fabricated without vertical joins. This ensures a cleaner aesthetic and a more efficient manufacturing process, as there are no seams to interfere with the placement of dowels or rings.

The composite coating acts as a high-performance thermal shield. It reflects solar heat during summer and retains internal warmth in winter, protecting interior furnishings from UV damage and significantly improving room energy efficiency.
